A matching vehicle record is not enough
A make, model and year can help identify a vehicle, but this website does not identify the refrigerant fitted to your system. Do not infer suitability from a successful registration entry. If a label or previous invoice names R1234yf, mention that evidence and let the workshop confirm it.
Give the history of the problem
Include when you first noticed reduced cooling, whether the system has recently been worked on and whether the change is constant or intermittent. If a previous regas did not resolve the concern, say so. This can change what needs to be assessed before another service is agreed.
If a leak prevents refilling
If the leak check finds a fault and the system cannot be refilled, the check costs £60 including VAT. This is the charge for that outcome, not an extra £60 added to a completed regas. Repairs, parts and further investigation are agreed separately.
