Identify the transmission
Your registration, mileage and previous gearbox-service record help the team establish the correct work. Gearboxes within the same vehicle range can have different requirements, so the quote is based on the actual transmission.
Confirm the service contents
Ask what fluid and filter work is included for your gearbox. Turner Brothers will explain the proposed service and any related items, so you know what is being maintained and can keep a useful record afterwards.
Mention any change in shifting
If the gearbox is slipping, juddering or changing gear differently, include that in the enquiry. A running fault may need diagnosis as well as a maintenance discussion; an oil service alone should not be assumed to resolve it.
